These are questions that doctors are more frequent eye. It can be confusing when there are common terms for medical conditions.
Myopia or myopia
A condition in which uncorrected vision of a person is only clear up close. Instead of the light is focused on the retina, which focuses front of the retina. A myopic person can read a magazine, but your distance vision is blurry and requires glasses or contact lenses to make it clear.
Farsightedness or hyperopia
Hyperopia, commonly known as farsightedness, is when a person sees better at distance than up close. Light enters the eye focuses behind the retina place a blurred image on the retina. For a sighted person to see clearly at any distance from a muscle inside the eye called ciliary body, should focus intraocular lens. As we age it becomes more difficult for the eye to achieve this autofocus. Because the eye's ability to focus, people with vision often does not need glasses to 30 or 40 years.
