Introduction

In the previous article "Alternative Learning: What is for you", we discussed some of the methods alternative currently in use that have overcome traditional learning in many cases. A problem common to some alternative methods of learning is a clear lack of "hands on "experience for the student. It would indeed be a serious oversight in an attempt to fully educate our children or our students, by any means without provide opportunities for personal and intimate exposure to a variety of places, things, animals and the environment in general. "Learning in a Box should be avoided at all costs if comprehensive development will be achieved. With virtual education study, independent and home schooling, in particular, an ongoing series of trips study should be programmed to increase the learning experience.

Education Online Courses and Programs

Programs and courses taken entirely online or through the use of computers has gained in popularity in recent times. With the advent of better, faster and cheaper computers and laptops, students are able to make the learning process in almost all facets of their lives with CR-ROM and the Internet to complement their skills, knowledge and learning. Learning strategies such as Web Quests, online forums, moderated chats, I / M (IM) have given an overview completely new to the education of children and adults alike. Local sites and facilities that are related to the study topic would be interesting excursions and useful.

Independent Study

Independent study involves the design of a project that the students then completed by various means of its own account. The collective work may require a number of issues closely interact to complete. Research research, writing, field trips, interviews, extensive reading and lectures, which all participate and work necessary to complete the project.
