Getting pregnant is not a “sure” thing. In fact, if you having difficulty conceiving, you are well aware that getting pregnant naturally can be a huge struggle. And the more you struggle with your fertility issues, the further you seem to drift from your goal.

Quite a paradox, right? The harder you work on getting pregnant, the more you seem to drift from your goal…hmm.

So what should you do if you find yourself caught up in the worry, concerns and stresses of trying to get pregnant? Should you quit working at it, or dig in even deeper, roll up your sleeve and try harder?

Here’s my two-cents.

Let me share with you of the more effective suggestions I can make to you, after 10+ years of working as a natural fertility specialist. Here’s what I suggest you try now:

When you are trying to get pregnant you have to stay focused on the big picture (getting pregnant), while detaching yourself from the emotional ups-and-downs that you can experience each month that you are not “successful”.

This means that you train yourself to not be emotionally devastated when you get your period. It also means that you continue improving your fertility, knowing that your work will eventually bring your rewards.

You do not have to wait to change your emotional investment and reaction to getting your period each month that you are trying to get pregnant. You can decide right now to change how you view your journey toward fertility, by detaching yourself from the monthly results, focusing instead on your larger work of improved fertility.

To do this, simply commit right now to letting go of your expected outcome, putting your efforts toward improving your whole body health and accepting what comes your way. Then, visualize yourself being pregnant, conceiving easily and having a successful pregnancy in the near future.

This type of thinking starts your mind and body off in the direction of believing your can get pregnant, and because your body responds to thought and emotion, your physical body starts making the necessary adjustments to promote peak fertility.

Just remember, fertility is an extension of your whole body’s health. If you balance your mind, body and spirit, your physical body will reflect those changes and your fertility levels will naturally improve. Keep the faith and do the work. Good things may be coming you way!
