We are slowly realizing that Western medicine does not have all the answers. We can see the positive effects Yoga, meditation and herbs. Can acupuncture offers an alternative, drug free way to cure a smoker's addiction?

What is acupuncture?

Acupuncture originated in China and involves placing needles into the body. The theory is that there are special lines and points the body where the "energy" and if the flows of placing the needles in the right places, the body will produce a physical response.

For example, Acupuncture is often used to relieve pain. Although it seems counterintuitive, place the needle in the right place may, for example, to treat a painful back.

How you can help smokers?

Acupuncture specialists say it can help cure many diseases and not just pain – such as smoking. The idea is that by placing the needles, anxiety can be reduced.
