Question: My daughter l4 years old, it is miserable to a problem, but constant. His nose is stuffy nose and his classmates at school was teasing her. Teachers are useless. Could you tell us what is causing this and suggest remedies to help? I have said I should cut the cow's milk products, which I could probably cause problems with the hotel school, and would appreciate your opinion.
Answer: This is a common problem and I regret your daughter is suffering as a result of the condition and their words of fellow cruel.
Sinuses are like chambers of the cave, in front open the skull condemn the nasal passages. They are located in front of the brain on either side of the bridge of the nose, which extends over the eye socket and behind the nose, cheeks and forehead. Its main function is to keep moisture in the nasal passages through the lining of the mucous membrane, but it also may be the source of the problem, if the mucus becomes thick and sticky. If the sinuses become inflamed, may lead to making the nasal passages are blocked. The result is a sharp pain, which occurs mainly on the check and areas of the forehead and is worse in the sun as heat dilates blood vessels. Another common symptom is pain in the eyes, watery which are often sensitive to bright light.
In general, stuffy or runny nose, indicates that the breasts are swollen behind the cheekbones. If there is a trickle mucus in the back of the throat is involved, the frontal area or the front of the breast. Post-nasal drip, as it is called, often means the patient involuntarily swallows thick secretion. If this condition is chronic (long term), the constant intake can cause repetitive strain injury to the muscles and ligaments of the throat making permanent pain.
discharge of mucus in the sinuses is usually caused by one of the following, a viral or bacterial toxins in the body due to poor nutrition and smoking, passive smoking, snorting cocaine or snuff, and allergies. People who suffer from constipation often have problems sinusitis because the toxins are not eliminated by the bowels are reabsorbed into the bloodstream and then disposed of through the sinuses. The problem of the mucosa is aggravated by the consumption of foods that trigger the body to produce.
Try the following …
Diet
* Avoid foods that induce mucus both as possible, including cow's milk and all products made with it, banana, ice cream, ice cubes, peppers, citrus and mangoes.
* Change a sheep's milk or goat's or rice porridge, or almond milk. Try soy milk, but some people are allergic to
* Eating at home chicken broth.
* Take a calcium supplement as l4-yer-olds spend an intense period of bone growth. I recommend Coral Calcium, which contains m4gnesium_andm any other minerals.
Remedies
* From the bosom of oil: put two drops in each nostril before bedtime for a month to help drain the mucus. This mixture herbal oils form a garrison in the mucous membrane and reduces the body's response to allergens.
* Lauq Sepistan: take half a teaspoon twice a day after meals in the morning and afternoon of l5 days. This helps reduce mucus secretion and nasal congestion.
Exercises breathing
* Blow your nose, inhale and look toward the ceiling and then exhale with force by the suction in the abdomen. Repeat ten times l5. Look down on the floor and repeat.
* Alternate nasal breathing position of your right thumb on the right nostril and middle finger on his left. Near the left nostril breathe through his right and then close the right nostril, open the left and exhale. Now breathe deep left and exits right keeping the other nostril closed as before. Repeat the sequence ten times.
Nasal douche
This natural method of cleansing the nasal passages suctions mucus from the sinuses. Use a Neti pot is filled with warm salt water (add three-fourths teaspoon salt 250 ml of water). Breathe only through your mouth (very important), tilt your head the left and put the nozzle in the right nostril so that a stream of salt water is poured in. tract passes through the right nasal drip through the left with the mucus of the same. Repeat with the other nostril. You will find more details and an illustration of this in my book co-written with Jiwan Brar Therapeutic Yoga.
Complementary therapy
Cranial osteopathy and acupuncture are excellent for drainage of the sinuses. Vicky Vlach in BMI has been very good.
