Alopecia areata is a condition in which human beings lose the hair of some or all parts of the body, but mainly the scalp. This condition produces about 0.1-0.2 percent in both men and women. Usually occurs in the final years of adolescence, childhood or adolescence. In fact, it can happen to people of all ages who are generally healthy and have no skin disease. One of the most common types of this condition involves the loss of hair in one or more round spots on the scalp. This condition is not contagious. There is no available treatment for this condition. But before learning about the treatment available, we will learn about the causes and symptoms of the disease.

Causes

The cause may be hereditary. It is more likely to occur in people who are experiencing family of autoimmune diseases. Alopecia areata is an autoimmune disease in which the body attacks your hair follicles and damage or playback stops hair. It has been shown T-cell lymphocytes that gather around these follicles, causing inflammation and ultimately lead to hair loss. Emotional stress and a pathogen can be combined with hereditary factors, and may worsen this condition. While babies may be born with congenital alopecia, however, this does not can be referred to as an autoimmune disease because a child does not have fully developed immune systems.

Symptoms

* Small and smooth, round bald usually

Diagnosis

Doctors usually pull a handful of hair along the edge of a patch with less force than would be necessary to get healthy hair. Treatment Options

Whatever the treatment, the conclusion is that the condition is treatable if proper diagnosis is made in time.
