Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Carpal tunnel syndrome is the name of the tube or tunnel that passes through the carpal bones (hence the name of "carpal") in the heel of your hand. The main point is the pain located in the area where the hand meets the wrist. If the size of the tunnel is reduced, it puts pressure on the median nerve, which causes numbness and pain characteristic of carpal tunnel syndrome.
