As an acupuncturist I am asked this a lot.
The answer is difficult and complicated. Actually, to answer the question of whether acupuncture works really depends another question: Does acupuncture for the problem?
The answer, if I'll be honest, is better. Many people find acupuncture effective for them to a wide range of issues and disorders. Some people find that acupuncture does not work for them, and his health problem is better treatments of acupuncture. It is important When looking for an acupuncturist, the first call or make an appointment for a simple query. Ask your doctor about your experience with your particular issue, and if been addressed. An acupuncturist who does not admit its errors, is that I would be willing to refer to, personally, and I would have potential patient care as if my acupuncturist claimed a success rate of 100%.
In my practice, eight treatments is a course of treatment, but usually by myself and four treatments a patient can know whether acupuncture is for them. No However, if the condition has not improved after four treatments, I give the patient the option to continue and see what happens, or we can explore other options.
